It’s no secret.  We’re in a tough economy.  Those who want to survive cut back on payroll.  They downsize, especially in the communications area.  But the work still needs to get done.  What a dilemma!

Going with the cheapest option may look good on the balance sheet, but not from the public’s point-of-view.  Knowing how to type does not mean a person is qualified to write.  If there are mistakes in spelling, punctuation and grammar, people lose confidence very quickly, and you may never regain it.
