Ability Communications & Training
Being understood is key to getting along with others. When there’s misunderstanding, we all lose, so it’s to our advantage that we learn how to communicate clearly.
For many people, communicating in person is not easy, and we often lack the time to do so anyway. Therefore, more and more, we are attempting to communicate from a distance. Telephone conversations lack facial nuances and other body language clues. Letters and e-mails lack those same clues, plus they lack the nuances of the human voice, making them very poor substitutes for in-person communication. But we use whatever we can to stay in touch.
In this class, we will examine the pros and cons of each form of communication, and try to improve your communication skills.
